MARIO POSADA GARCÍA-PEÑA
President of the University and Provost of the Cloister
Mario Posada García-Peña, is a Lawyer from the Universidad del Rosario, a Specialist in Tax Law and a Master's in Administrative Law from the same university; Specialist in Economic Law from the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, and completed the Program in International Tax from the University of Harvard. Also, he was enrolled in the Executive MBA of the University of The Andes and advances currently in the Phd program in Administration – DBA CEASES.
In his professional career, he has been a university teacher of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, President of the bar Association of other universities that are and Referee of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce; in addition, it is a permanent member of the Body of Regents of the University of America.
On 12 July 2019, he was elected by the Regents Permanent members of the highest governing body of the Institution, as President of the University and Provost of the Cloister; the July 10, 2024 was re-elected for the period 2024-2029 in session of the same legislature.
